reviews

Product testing policy:

Tetonsandwasatch.com strives to give gear and products a fair and thorough review. Thorough means: complete in every detail and carried out with care. That’s the goal, and it is recognized that quantifying every detail is sometimes a tall order. It’s possible some details may escape notice – stranger things have happened. However, product testing and gear reviews are carried out with care, and most, if not every, detail(s) are noted.

You won’t find quickly hashed out reviews here. That means, for example, if it’s skis that are being tested, the review is going to take days if not weeks, to ensure that a broad range of snow conditions are encountered. Around here, it’s felt that reviewing a ski following 2 or 3 quick trips up a chairlift, complemented by skiing similar slopes each run, is inadequate.

And so it goes for all products. They may not encounter every single weather condition or exposure variable, but effort is made to make sure they encounter a wide variety of conditions before comment is made, and a review published.

Spanning the range from edibles to (hopefully) unbreakables, products are given their fair shake in the field. Results – good or bad – are illuminated.

If you desire product reviews that have been quickly thrown together, tetonsandwasatch.com isn’t the place to search.

Check out past product reviews.

If you or the company you represent have gear that you would like thoroughly tested and reviewed, please get in touch with Adam OKeefe at: aok@tetonsandwasatch dot com.
